Wee Urban Farm (WUF) has been growing produce organically in the heart of Downtown Plano since 2014. In 2018 when the First Baptist Church of Plano put its property up for sale, they donated much of the raised-bed equipment (and even soil) from their community garden to WUF. When the Children's Workshop primary and pre-school closed during Covid-19 in 2020 the farm took over their former grass playground field and greatly expanded. We now farm a total of twelve 20x4' raised beds, and two heugelculture beds with fruit trees and berries.
